Hi everyone, super super nervous about this but I hope things go well!
This is the first time I'm posting this comic anywhere aside from the site I've been posting it on since 2004 (I started drawing itin 2002 though) and a brief, beautiful time when I had my own website (Rant witheld for now on that, but don't ever host something with EIG! They are bad, bad, bad!)
Comicfury has been amazing so far, so I thought I'd drag this comic over here too.

What a coincidence, I briefly saw this comic almost exactly an hour and a half ago today! (I was going through the tvtropes index for webcomics from “The Duck” (or “Drunk Duck” as it used to be called?) webcomic site to see if there were any I could add to the list of webcomics on the tvtropes Canadian media page).
I thought it looked interesting, but didn’t have time to read it. If I don’t get around to it soon, this seems like a great addition to my summer reading list, comedy and fantasy stories are some of my favorites ^_^
Edit: Also, welcome! :D

Ah gosh, that is awesome haha! It's so surreal when that kind of thing happens! I love TVTropes, I've had some fantastic readers who very diligently tended to the trope page for my comic for years! Well, if you do end up reading it here you'll be get the better version of it, but it'll be a while 'til I catch up to where it is on DD. Thank you so much for first comment on this! I'm so nervous posting this thing outside DD!

I think you’ll do great, the webcomic looks really well done ^_^
(After commenting earlier I hopped on tvtropes to list CTV on the Comicfury index & update its webcomic page with a link to here and a quick explanation on it having version differences)

Hello and welcome!
I'm one of those 'silent lurkers' from over on the Duck. I've read the comic off and on for.... EVER.
Great to see you over here!
Are you 'touching up' ALL the older pages (which I assume would be a INSANE amount of work), or are you simply moving forward from a certain point in the narrative? (Which I ALSO assume would still be an insane amount of work?!)
Either way, I say more power and I will now be watching you here, as well!!
:D

ohmygosh hi!! Thank you so much for the warm welcome! Ahh, yes I am redoing a bulk of the old archive + bringing in lost material (original DD run started like, a good 200 or so pages into "The Tome" which was the first iteration of 2002-2003 stories, and I skipped so much character introduction just to get the characters I liked drawing most on the screen fast as possible, I'm taking my time this round!) I'm going up to just past the Party story arc, which will be the last one I sort of streamline before the ReVamped stuff is up. The plan is right now, redraw all up to page 767, more or less I'll redraw the best ones from the old archives and probably cut the more obnoxious ones that don't effect the story much from the past XD

The Sundance Kid

The Sundance Kid The Sundance Kid

I remember briefly coming across Charby several years ago, when I was still a kid. I don't remember exactly where I found it - I think I might have found it through an advertisement of some kind, but I can't say for certain. I do remember the darkness of it, the trope of an abused child finding incredible power through tragedy - these things stuck with me, and even inspired my own writing.
